You deserve a kitchen that feeds your soul. A space that makes you swoon with its stunning form and function. As crucial and tone-setting as flooring and countertops, a brilliant eye-catching backsplash can transform a kitchen’s entire vibe.
Custom Kitchens’ high-end backsplashes call on unique materials that include glass panels, decorative medallions, and handmade tiles. For added appeal, adventurous designers and homeowners extend backsplashes from counter to ceiling height to make thrilling statements with personalized details that come with a story. Find a custom kitchen backsplash that tells your tale and displays your design prowess; you’ll wonder how your kitchen ever functioned without it.
When it comes to designing high-end kitchen backsplashes, there are two important details that will make it a success:
Whether you’re going for urban industrial, vintage boho or farmhouse classic, be sure to consider your personal style and the tone of your home.
Do you entertain a lot? Love to host wine dinners and holiday feasts? Is it just you and your partner, carving out a new space of your own? Are your children learning to cook and experiment in the kitchen? Kitchen backsplashes are an opportunity to showcase personality within your home and make the space an extension of your interests and hobbies.
This stunning Colonial Revival home was built in the late 1800s and underwent a not-so spectacular kitchen remodel in the 1930s. The current homeowners’ goals were to breathe the grace and poise associated with the turn of the century back into this space. Leaning toward traditional style, our design team divided the room into a variety of stations. The baking area is situated so that everything, from eggs to mixers, can be accessed within arm's reach of the island’s built-in convection oven. Similarly, effortless preparation of an assortment of dishes can be created simultaneously at the 48” gas range, which includes a griddle. At the homeowners’ request, a custom mosaic backsplash was designed using the tree of life pattern in marble and onyx to create a strong focal point above the range.
Emerald green quartzite from Brazil creates spacious countertop flow and food preparation areas as well as a convenient staging area near the dining room. Upper glass-door cabinets store and display the homeowners’ collection of china and crystal. Conveniences, functionality and beauty play together to make this kitchen work for any occasion—and any time period.
Our design pros went upscale traditional with this kitchen design, increasing countertop meal prep, presentation space, and adding depth to the overall capacity. A high-end backsplash and countertops of Caesarstone Quartz in Atlantic Salt lighten up the entire room, adding a dashing mod feel. Using the countertop material for the backsplash keeps the design looking sleek and clean with eye-catching grey, cream, white, and black specks in the Atlantic Salt Caesarstone quartz. The continuous design keeps the flow from being too busy while providing balance to the warm wood cabinetry and flooring.
In true transitional kitchen style, this high-end backsplash transforms the entire kitchen ambiance. Our design team integrated white field tile on the walls, a pure white Caesarstone quartz countertop, and white wall cabinets to offset the blue decorative tile splash above the cooktop. The light blue backsplash is the star of the show, beautifully complementing the blue base cabinetry.
Clean, geometric lines pair well with a splash of color to make this transitional kitchen space quite impressive. Eyes are instantaneously drawn to the fresh, vibrant look and home chefs revel in the free-flowing and efficient kitchen layout.
