Our staff and trade partners have been with us for decades, and we’re seeking to add a talented and experienced Lead Carpenter to our valued team.


Job Description:

As a Custom Kitchens Lead Carpenter, you’ll be responsible for Kitchen and Bath installations and finish work from beginning to end, working hand in hand with the Designer and Project Manager to make the design plan a reality.

Quality craftsmanship is of the utmost importance at Custom Kitchens, and the projects you’ll be managing require an experienced touch and pride in workmanship. You’ll have the full support of the Custom Kitchens team, and all of the resources you need to do your work.

Compensation is prevailing wage including full benefits.


Candidate Qualifications:

  • Have at least 8 + years of experience in the residential remodeling/construction industry
  • Able to perform fine finish carpentry and have knowledge in fine cabinet construction, installation and framing
  • Must have a High School diploma or GED
  • Neat and organized
  • Pay attention to detail
  • Read CAD and shop drawings and have knowledge of residential building codes
  • Knowledgeable in plumbing, mechanical and electrical work
  • A team player
  • Communicates clearly with co-workers, project managers, designers, sub-contractors, clients and suppliers
  • Preferably a non-smoker
  • Own a clean pickup truck or van and maintain current insurance and a clean driving record.
  • Must carry and have own tools
  • Capable of working and managing projects alone
  • Be willing to learn new skills and new techniques
